Our digital mass flow meter display is one of the most distinctive elements of an Alicat Scientific meter or controller. Available as a 160 x 128 pixel monochrome LCD with adjustable contrast or a 320 x 240 backlit color TFT, our 2.1? diagonal
digital display is both practical and beautiful.
Our mass flow instruments simultaneously display real-time data for mass flow rate, volumetric flow rate, absolute pressure and temperature. Each of these parameters may be ordered with custom engineering units at no extra charge, and
any one of the four may be selected to appear in the large central readout. In addition, units with our optional totalizer display the current total flow. Controllers also display the commanded setpoint.
The simultaneous readout of up to six parameters makes our instruments excellent stand-alone devices that require no further connectivity with a computer or PLC. Furthermore, the six touchpad buttons above and below the display allow
a high level of user interaction. Users may change the setpoint, choose one of 30 on-board gas calibrations and even adjust a controller’s PID tuning and control loop, all without the need for a computer.
Our monochrome display is standard on all Alicat instruments. Display options include a backlit color TFT with backlight toggle and a remote display, available in monochrome or color. Instruments may also be ordered without a display.
