The VBAT series tanks are designed to directly mate with VBA boosters to add a reservoir of higher pressure air to the system. With such a reservoir of high pressure air, the booster is able to charge the system during periods of low demand. Available in carbon or stainless steel, the tanks are available in four sizes from 5 to 38 liters in capacity. Models are available to meet various regional pressure vessel regulations.
The VBAT-X105 tanks are ASME UM stamped for use in countries such as the US and Canada who base their pressure vessel laws on ASME Section VIII, Division 1 Boiler and Pressure Vessel code. These units include an ASME V1 stamped pressure relief valve.
The VBAT-Q tanks are CE certified for use in Europe and other countries that require compliance wtih the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). These units include a CE marked pressure relief valve and a drain valve.
The standard VBAT tanks are built to comply with Japanese pressure vessel regulations and can also be used in regions without more stringent requirements.
