Noise Reduction for a Quieter Workspace
One of the primary benefits of silencers and exhaust cleaners is their ability to reduce noise pollution in your industrial or commercial setting. Noise pollution can not only be a nuisance for your employees but also a hazard to their health. Excessive noise levels can lead to stress, hearing damage, and decreased productivity.
Our exhaust cleaners, featuring sound-absorbing materials, are designed to tackle this issue head-on. By effectively silencing the exhaust air, they create a quieter workspace, ensuring a more comfortable environment for your team. The noise reduction effect is remarkable, allowing your employees to focus better and work more efficiently.
Clean Air for Optimal Performance
In addition to noise reduction, exhaust cleaners play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of your plant air. Contaminants and debris in your exhaust air can lead to equipment malfunction, increased maintenance costs, and decreased overall efficiency.
Our series of exhaust cleaners are equipped with flame-resistant materials that not only reduce noise but also filter out impurities from the exhaust air. This results in clean plant air, promoting the longevity of your equipment and minimizing downtime. Cleaner air also means fewer contaminants in your production process, ensuring a higher quality end-product.
Cost-Efficiency through Design
Reducing costs is a top priority for any business. Silencers and exhaust cleaners can contribute to this goal by reducing piping labor costs. Their shock-resistant construction simplifies installation, saving you both time and money. With easy installation, you can have your pneumatic system up and running efficiently in no time.
The benefits don’t stop there. By reducing noise pollution, you also mitigate the risk of regulatory fines due to noise violations. This proactive approach to noise reduction can save your business from costly penalties and legal hassles.
Versatile Applications
Silencers and exhaust cleaners are versatile components that find applications in various industries. Whether you operate in manufacturing, construction, or any other field that relies on pneumatic systems, these products can be tailored to your specific needs. They are compatible with a wide range of equipment, making them a versatile solution for businesses of all types and sizes.

ANA1/ANB1
The high noise reduction style silencer ANA1 keeps the noise level inside a plant below 85dB(A) with a noise reduction effect of 40dB(A). Series ANB1 has a noise reduction effect of 38dB(A) and has a larger effective area with the same port size as series ANA1. It is also available for common exhaust from manifolds.
AN
Series AN silencers offer various styles and low back pressure in a compact, easy mounting design. The noise reduction has been improved to 30 dB(A) and the case is UL94-V0 grade, flame resistant material. Series AN is available with M, R or NPT threads.
AMC
Series AMC exhaust cleaners insure clean plant air and reduce noise pollution over 35dB. The AMC series also removes over 99.9% of oil mist. Choose from R(PT), NPT or G(PF) thread styles.
AMP
Exhaust cleaner, series AMP, can be used inside a clean room. Depending on operating conditions, exhaust air cleanliness may be equivalent to Class 100. Since exhaust air from pneumatic equipment can be released directly into a clean room, piping to ducts is unnecessary thereby reducing piping labor costs and increasing space savings.
25**
Series 25 is a metal case style silencer with a shock resistant construction. The series exhausts in only one direction and prevents scattering of mist and noise. Series 25 is available with R(PT) or NPT threads.
VCHN
SMC's VCHN silencer is rated for high pressure of up to 5.0MPa. A double-layer filtration structure results in less clogging of the silencer's element, and by simply removing a bolt, the sound absorbing material can be replaced without removing the silencer. The VCHN has a built-in safety valve, which will activate when the silencer's internal pressure exceeds 1.8MPa. At a supply pressure of 4.0MPa, back pressure 2.0MPa, the VCHN provides a 35dB(A) noise level reduction. A freeze reduction option is available.
AMV
Series AMV exhaust cleaner separates and removes over 99.5% oil mist in compressed air and solid particles of more than 0.3µm. It can operate in temperatures between 5° to 80°C if there is no risk of freezing the moisture in the air.
